Our manifesto
FIAD has embraced the changing audiovisual market and is committed to fostering a strong film distribution sector. Our manifesto for a diverse and sustainable audiovisual sector is underpinned by six core principles, which all aim at ensuring that the right conditions to preserve Europe’s cultural diversity are safeguarded.

ABOUT US
The International Federation of Film Distributors’ and Publishers' Associations (FIAD) gathers national organisations of film distribution companies. Distributors are the lynchpin of the film value chain, helping to connect filmmakers with finance and finished films with wide-ranging audiences.
Effective distribution is vital to Europe’s diverse film culture and film industry in a digital era of abundant media supply.
FIAD's members operate in 14 countries where they cover 90 to 100 percent of the theatrical market.
